ACS- Automatic devices of control and signaling
The automatic devices of control and signaling (ACS) are used to control and command sprinkler installations. Depending on the protected space ,they can be of type dry or wet.
ACS air-water are built more complex and used for networks sprinklers installed in areas with temperatures below 4 degrees Celsius.
ACS water-water sites are used in rooms that ensure a temperature above 5 degrees Celsius, breaking the fusible element of a sprinkler pump and cause startup sound alarm. ACS sites have optimized design, so that it is eliminated false alarms (activated hydraulic gong) due to excessive pressure (water hammer) in alimentation with the water network system.

The fire protection system,water- water is the simplest and most widely used system in sprinkler installations. In general, this system can be installed in any place that is not at risk from frost.
The principle of operation is as follows: valve triggers the fire alarm functions as a normal check valve and generates alarm when at least one sprinkler is activated and senses a flow rate.
Pipes connected to the ACS are filled with water ,the sprinklers switching-in case of fire immediately. The retard chamber is added to prevent accidental triggering the fire alarm if the water pressure in the mains network of alimentation of the ACS is not constant.

The air-water system can be installed in any place subjected to freezing risk in areas such as warehouses and parking lots that do not benefit from heating systems.
The operation mode is similar to water-water system, the difference being that the pipes in the distribution network connected to the control and signaling devices are not filled with water, but air or nitrogen. Thus, in the case of fire sprinkler which opens generates a pressure drop in the system needed to operate the valve opening and trigger the alarm.
All the system components guarantee a prompt and effective action on fire as early moments.
The accelerator ensures a rapid evacuation of air from the sprinkler pipes allowing water to fill the pipes and act the sprinklers in a very short time.
